Montel has once again assisted the Harbour Master in Torquay to ensure a delivery of pontoons could move safely through the area. These large 20 meter long trailers were expertly guided through the area by our teams, they do love a challenge! See MoreSee Less

Our Torquay scheme being undertaken for Torbay Council is well into its second phase now. Why not take a trip to Torquay to support the local businesses and check out the progress. If you do, park out of town and enjoy a walk to the harbourside (a good excuse for a coffee and cake at one of the great coffee shops!) as traffic in the area is busy. Thank you to Gworks Surfacing & Civil Engineering Ltd for the great drone image. See MoreSee Less

If you are local to our public realm scheme being undertaken for Torbay Council at the harbourside you will often see works come to a halt as we assist larger loads to navigate safely through the area. Back in December the Harbour Master requested our assistance in navigating four 20-meter long pontoons through the area. It was a challenge our team was happy to accept, and all pontoons arrived at their destination safely. See MoreSee Less

Two-way traffic signals between the M5 overbridge and Staverton junction (the traffic signals will move along this section as the works progress).

Commerce Road/B4063 junction – the approaches will be reduced to single lanes as required, with permanent lights remaining operational.

Overnight works may also be required on Tuesday 6th February, we will update the community about this once confirmed.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

If the trees are so well established and rooted, would it not be easier to work and plan the changes / building works around the trees rather than cutting them down? Wouldn't it even be cheaper to build around the trees instead of removing them and planting the new ones?

Montel have a Christmas Jumper Day every year, this year we once again supported the Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal and raised a fantastic £132.50. This week we received a letter of thanks and a certificate, the team are very proud of this! This is an amazing charity that requires support all year round, so if you’d like to find out how you can help follow the link lnkd.in/e2mRi4CE See MoreSee Less

You guys are fantastic, thank you! 💙

Our Social Value Co-ordinator Sophie attended Somerset Chamber of Commerce business critical forum on supply chain resilience at Weston College today. It was great to hear what other local businesses are doing to secure their supply chain, and to discuss the challenges of sustainability and net zero across our differing industries. Thanks Scott Jenkins for chairing the discussion. See MoreSee Less
