Extensive consultations with residents, schools and businesses were carried out during the planning of the Works which was carried out by Torbay Council. This included a ‘meet the Contractor’ event carried by Montel and Torbay Council combined. We carried out regular/frequent letter drops to all properties and businesses in the area to provide them with information of the programme of works including any disruption to their access of the area. contact details were provided should they have any questions or concerns. Where possible these concerns were incorporated within the methodology for constructing the Works. Where any Works were directly affecting businesses and properties, we encouraged the Residents to come and view/inspect our findings.
