The Crescent A449 Junction

Montel Civil Engineering has been appointed by Vistry Group to complete A449/The Crescent junction improvements.

Road closure of The Crescent will commence on 8^th September 2025 and remain in place until 24^th November 2025.

During this time, we will be undertaking highway improvement works at the junction with Wolverhampton Road. The planned works will include:

• Widening the junction to create a safer turning point
• Installing a new pedestrian crossing
• Introducing new road markings

Additionally, from 10^th November to 23^rd November 2025 there will be an overnight road closure of A449 (Wolverhampton Road) between hours 7pm to 6am. We will send further notice ahead of time.
