Integrated Delivery Team

The scheme comprised of a new traffic-signalised junction on what had previously been a five-way interchange (that had once formed the entrance to the Fry’s Turkish Delight factory)

With our extensive experience and proactive approach, the site team brought together the various facets of the design and through direct liaison with the local authority and each of the four designers ensured that the Works were constructed in general compliance with the drawings, but also to their adoptable standards.

As a solution-driven contractor, we saw it as our role within the integrated delivery team to identify, solve, and drive solutions through the scheme – in order to provide our client with a stress-free project.

Adopting a Collaborative Strategy

Working within very restricted working areas due to the necessity to maintain at least single lane traffic through the works and the presence of Keynsham train station directly opposite the Works area with the constant flow of pedestrians and vehicles accessing and egressing the station and its car park, it was important that the various works and specialist trade contractors were co-ordinated with regards to both logistics and health & safety concerns.

Encouraging Innovation and Learning

Through the sharing of intelligence, innovations and best practice, our delivery team was well-equipped to mitigate risks to time, cost and quality, whilst ensuring the customer requirements were incorporated into every aspect of scheme delivery.
