Dawlish HIF Infrastructure

Dawlish HIF is the construction of a new 26m span bridge and 110m of carriageway on the embankment, including construction of footways and cycleways, with a further 360m of 6m carriageway.

The new link road and an associated bridge over Shutterton Brook is part of a wider scheme for 860 homes near Secmaton Lane. This project is contained in Teignbridge District Councils current local plan and is a key step in achieving the goal of linking Elm Grove Road and the A379 Exeter Road.

Montel was appointed by Devon County Council following a traditional tender process, while developing site specific contractor design elements including significant ground stabilisation works.
